We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, recordkeeping, and reporting. The ideal candidate will handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll, budgeting, and compliance with financial regulations. They will work closely with management to provide insights into financial performance and ensure accurate financial statements. Responsibility
- Financial Recordkeeping – Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Monthly and Annual Closing – Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate closing processes.
- Budget Management – Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial models to guide financial planning and decision-making.
- Financial Analysis – Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Tax Compliance – Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, and prepare tax returns.
- Audit Preparation – Prepare for internal and external audits by organizing financial data and maintaining comprehensive records.
- Cash Flow Management – Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for operational needs.
- Process Improvement – Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaboration with Departments – Work closely with other departments to gather financial data and support cross-functional projects.
- Reporting to Management – Present financial reports, insights, and recommendations to management to aid in strategic decision-making.

Qualifications
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Experience – Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role; typically 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Technical Skills – Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and pivot tables.
- Knowledge of GAAP – Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Analytical Abilities – Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
