Job description

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our development team and create dynamic, user-friendly websites and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP programming, web development, and the ability to work on various projects, including backend API integrations and database management. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibility

  • Develop and Maintain Web Applications – Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code for web applications and sites.
  • Backend Development – Work on backend services, APIs, and server-side logic to support front-end applications.
  • Database Management – Manage and optimize database queries, schemas, and structures for performance and efficiency.
  • Code Optimization and Debugging – Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, debug and resolve software issues, and perform code reviews.
  • Collaborate with Frontend Developers – Work closely with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Maintain Code Quality – Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices.
  • Security and Data Protection – Implement security and data protection measures to protect the application from potential risks.
  • Stay Updated with Latest Technologies – Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate new tools and technique

    • Qualifications

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience – Proven experience as a PHP Developer; typically 2+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Technical Skills – Proficiency in PHP and familiarity with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony), along with MySQL, SQL databases, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with APIs – Experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party services.
  • Version Control – Knowledge of version control tools like Git for code collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
  • Team Collaboration – Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate ideas clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail – Commitment to delivering high-quality code with meticulous attention to detail.
